Use AI assistant to optimize routes

MyRouteOnline now integrates with AI assistants through the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) standard. Instead of uploading spreadsheets or typing addresses manually, just describe your stops in a conversation and get back an optimized route with turn-by-turn navigation links.

How It Works

1. Connect MyRouteOnline to your AI assistant (one-time setup)
2. Tell the AI where you need to go — paste addresses, describe locations, or even say “my usual Monday route plus two new stops”.
3. The AI calls MyRouteOnline to optimize your route.
4. Get results with navigation links sent directly to your phone via email.

Setup

Connect your AI assistant to MyRouteOnline using this endpoint URL:

Your AI assistant will walk you through signing in with your MyRouteOnline email and API key. No passwords are shared with the AI — authentication uses the industry-standard OAuth 2.1 protocol.

What You Can Do

1. Optimize routes – Give the AI a list of addresses and get the fastest driving order
2. Get navigation links – Receive links to open the route in the MyRoute app on your phone
3. Email results – Have the optimized route emailed to you or your team
