Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve, are some of the most dangerous days for driving in the US. During the holidays, with the falling gas prices, there are more vehicles on the roads, driving longer hours. According to the Department of Transportation, during the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, the number of Americans on a road trip longer than 50 miles increases by 23%.
